Install Decks and get started

iPhone

Follow the workflow below on your iPhone. Use the Mac notes for desktop-specific controls.

iPad

The same workflow applies on iPad. Editing controls may appear beside the canvas in a wide window instead of below it.

Requirements: iOS or iPadOS 18 or later; macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon.

TestFlight is Apple’s app for installing and updating beta apps. You do not need a beta version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS to use Decks; your device just needs to meet the requirements listed here.

1. Install TestFlight from the App Store on the iPhone, iPad, or Mac where you want to use Decks.
2. On that device, open the Decks public beta invitation and choose View in TestFlight.
3. Accept the invitation if prompted, then choose Install for Decks.
4. Open Decks and choose your photographs to get started. Return to TestFlight for new builds and beta feedback.

If the invitation opens in a browser after you install TestFlight, open the invitation again on the same device. If TestFlight reports that the beta is full or unavailable, email [email protected]. See Apple’s TestFlight instructions for installation help.

Mac

Install TestFlight on your Mac, then open the public invitation on that Mac. The Decks Mac beta requires macOS 15 or later and Apple silicon.
